Letter to the Environment Department

At the instruction of the entire Republican Caucus in the New Mexico House of Representatives, attached our public comments expressing strong opposition to the proposed rule EIB 23-56 (R) that will be considered by the Environmental Improvement Board on November 13-15, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We respectfully request that copy of this public comment be provided to every member of the Board prior to the November hearings and that the document be included in the officials record of the proceeding.

The comment provides a number of concerns and reasons as to why we believe the Board should reject this proposed rule.
